I bought DMC4 today, installed it fine, watched through video before the menu section which seemed to look fine but then once I go into the game itself - originally I thought it was just some effect done for the openin story - the sound goes fine, no pauses or anything, but the video and the gameplay seem to be jumpy as if pausing every second. It jumps through the frames and seems to be very slow which I'm assuming is not the normal for this game.
If anyone can help or offer any solutions, I'd be very happy. Cheers
PS. I'm using vista, bout 100gigs free space, 2g ram, dual core processor. Any other info needed, just ask. Not the best at computers so a little more direction then normal may be needed. Much appreciated.

my computer have the same problem but my computer is lame , so i make some changes , i change the resolution to the lowest but suitable to my moniter , turns the V-sync to 4x , then the quality to the lowest way and change the fps to variables . Change the refresh rate to 60hz .the resolution qualities don't need to be change if you want . and try using NVIDIA <@> . who knows , maybe i right , maybe i wrong . so it your choice to do it . good luck

Try installing with a different CD and check the version so it doesn't crash while playing with trainer . why don't you ask the pros like " faun " . you can find him on my friends list . and a little bit more . the V-Sync on and the anti-aliasing 4X . k Good luck

turn off v-sync for a start, that usually buggers frame rates to hell, at the same time tell us what graphics card your using.

anti-aliasing will kill ur pc man if u dont have good grapfics cards....
i can only afford to use an old 7600gt but i've overclocked it and it just works fine even with everything on high. but be aware that the frame rates are not very amusing to start with... i get about 30fps on all settings to the max.
i have: intel E6300 Core 2 Duo,(normal speed 1.86ghz but i've clocked it to 2.6ghz) Gigabyte P-965-DQ4,(fsb overclocked to 320mhz) NVidia GeForce 7600gt single,(overclocked) 160gb maxtor hard drive, 2Gb DDR2-800 (overclocked to 1066) and a lowly 400W power supply...
it still works fine if u dont mind some jolts in the game...
one more thing... dont ever try overclocking if you dont know what you are doing... it might make your wholly beast into smouldering ash....
