This Could Be A Bit Of A Sore Topic As I`ve Been Reading Though
The Mesage Board! My Spore Version Is 1.1.0.338 I`ve Tryed Using The ((Space Event Reducer Extreme Pack )) But Must not Be Conpatable With My Version Of Game! I Tried To Run Update Patch
But When I Use My Trainers The Game Crashes After About 10 Minutes Of Play! I Know There Has Been Alot Of Work Trying To Create A Mod! To Reduce Or Even Stop Raid Plunder Frequency
If The Space Event Frequency Worked For Somebody What Version Are They Running! Tryed Logging Into EA Ended Up With Same Prob Another fella Had! I`m Still Experimenting With Bits Of Info I Managed To Get From Your Forum! If I Come Up With Anything I`ll Be Sure To Post! As The Pirates Are Driving Me Nuts! I Don`t Mind If A Race That You Made Enemies With Attacks at Least You Know Where They Live And Can Fight Back!

So The Big Question Is Has Anybody Managed A Mod That Will Reduce All Space Events To 0

There Is A Good Post In Our Forums By ((geos)) Called
(( Disable pirate raids and eco disasters ))
    Seems To Be Working!

You can lower the rate of pirate raids and eco disasters by adding following lines to the end of file preferences.prop located in "User name"/Application Data/Spore/Preferences directory. Just open it with notepad.

    universeSimulatorPirateRaidFrequency 100
    universeSimulatorPirateRaidAllyFrequency 100
    universeSimulatorPirateRaidPlunderFrequency 100
    universeSimulatorHappinessDisasterFrequency 100
    universeSimulatorBiosphereCollapseFrequency 100

I`ve Set Instead Of 100 Went 2400 On Each Line! Which They Have Talked About!
There Is Lots More Info There Worth Looking At On That Post!
So Thanks I Never Thought Of That!
Saves Using Ctrl Alt C And Loose Badges And Stuff And Getting
    The Jokers Badge!

It Has To Be Written In Every Time You Start A New Game Or Exit To Menu! preferences.prop Resets Itself.

Some of the badges require the biospherecollapse and the PirateRaidAlly features, so setting them too infrequent could cause waiting for a long time before you get the 5th tier badge.
It might be easier on you if you just set all but those two to higher levels. Since you aren't severely punished for not rushing to your ally's aid during the pirate raids, nor is it too much trouble to re-balance an eco-system -- if you know how to go about it; it shouldn't be too bothersome.
The ones that affect your own planet, however, do seem to be quite frustrating.
