Will there be a trainer developed for the boxed edition of the witcher enhanced? The current trainer does not work. The game crashes as soon as you try to load a game. I have the 1.4.5.1280 version, I downloaded the 1.4.5.1280 trainer, I authenticated the trainer, I followed other trouble shooting steps. . . crash.

Update: Well, if you match the version up, run the trainer in Vista as admin, bingo! It does work. Now I can beat it again for the third time, at least until Fallout III comes out. Thanks for all the help, and as for me, I get a big DUH! on this one.

we bought the boxed edition of the game. our trainer works fine for it. match the version with the trainer.

you can also use a no-cd fix.

Just in case, if your copy is RETAIL EE and you're playing WITH a no-cd, be sure to use the 1.4.5.1282 (steam) trainer. If you're playing RETAIL EE but WITHOUT a no-cd, then use the matching version, i.e. 1.4.5.1280 (non-steam). If yours is the original game (non-EE) and you've applied the EE PATCH, then use the 1.4.5.1282 (steam) trainer. EE patched games do not require disc checks.

why would you need an offline authentication code to unlock a trainer you need to be connected to the internet to get otherwise if you couldnt get online other than by going to a library or cafe, and can only get the code request tool by being a member of an upgraded[pay to upgrade] membership account ? [seems if you were offline, you couldnt afford the internet and thus couldnt afford the upgraded membership to get the authentication tool] or am i the only one who sees the stupidity in that? [someone got employee of the month for thinking that one up i guess]

anyway, i need a working trainer for vista v1280 and ive tried all i can find, other than the authentication code part[cant afford to upgrade just for 1 tool], ive tried those other methods mentioned earlier except the no cd one, which i dont fully understand!

Just so you know the game dose no longer have a key code!
