If they come out with a new patch, I will update this.

UPDATE THIS WILL WORK WITH THE LATEST PATCH TO REMOVE INTRO:

    [--------------------------------------------------------]

    1. Download .DAT Opener(google it)
    2. Go to Run.
    3. Type in "msconfig".
    4. Go to Startup.
    5. Uncheck Spore from going on start-up.
    6. Now go in the .dat file.
    7. Find a foldier named Net_E
    8. Go to Windows MicroBit.
    9. Services
    10. EA_Intro
    11. Change "Enable ea.jpg" to "Disable ea.jpg"
    12. OK
    13. Reboot PC.
    14. Now insert CD, not no-cd method.
    15. Start Spore.
    16. See if it worked.

I have not tried it on Vista or XP Pro but this is not 100% guaranteed to work.

    There ya'll go.

We're bothered by it because we shouldn't HAVE to watch the goddamn EA intro every single time we start up an EA game. You apparently don't play them enough to know how annoying it is.

Also, as I posted in the topic I made, WHAT .dat file are you talking about? I can't find any dat file relating to EA or spore on my computer at all, and I have hidden files showing.

Also, Spore isn't listed in my start-up list.

I'm using Vista32. The only .exe in reference to Spore is SporeApp.exe. Pretty much everything else in that folder is a .package file.
