That's strange since I purchased the retail DVD here in the US & patched the game to patch 1.6.5 (build 34688). I'm assuming you've uninstalled & reinstalled the game & applied the patch? The patch doesn't work with ANY direct download of the game. It only works for the retail boxed version of the game.

We can only upgrade to what the digital download version allows, nothing else.

it was a patch download from there servers.
the version i have stated is what there server gave me.

1.7 trainer doesn't work for 1.7 russian version. The game just crashes and closes.

You may want to download the patch from direct 2 drive there patch is for the digital download and the atari version. My copy would'nt patch and I tryed their patch it worked so you may want to try it.
