Regarding the Trader Mod, With this mod you can buy all weapo....

Got US store bought version 1.504 patch. Mega trainer works fine. But the Trader mod doesnt - neither from new, nor from a loaded game.

Same for me. Copy the gamedata folder into clear sky directory and tried both new game and loaded games. No worky please help

I used that one.
With it you have all weapons etc. at every merchant + you can upgrade all weapons/armors in every base.

But the other one from the other trade worked for me aswell.
Maybe you just installed it wrong?
It should be clear sky/gamedata/config or whatever not 2 times same thing. (like gamedate/gamedate)

yeah you need to copy the data to the folder and edit a line in the fsgame.ltx file. the reson why is that you need to tel the game to load the data you put in the file before it loads the file from all the packed data. so what you need ot do is this
step 1.

look for the fsgame.ltx file and open it with notepad or wordpad.

2. edit this line
game_data = false | true| $fs_root$| to
game_data = true| true| $fs_root$|

3. then copy the folde to the deepsilver folder or whatever and it should work.

you need to tell the steam version to load the mods befire it load the actual game. by setting the line from false to true it says that you want it to load all modded data before it loads the orginal data. always make a back up copy of the file incase you screw up. I hope this helps

don't copy the line just look for the game data and set both to true so the game data line int he fsgame.ltx ffile should read game data ture|true something like that

First I tweak the fsgame.ltx file w/ the original cheathappens mod. No go. So I downloaded the file Arhey provided and then replace over the cheathappens gamedata folder and now it works.

Just follow both instructions and it will work fine.

Your gamedata folder should be within the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-CLEAR SKY FOLDER. something like this (D:\Games\Deep Silver\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Sky\gamedata)

Hmm don't had to edit something.
Just puted the files into the folder (wasn't there created one) and started game
Everything worked fine :P

np fine that it worked now.

i think it depends on which trader mod you use, for mine had to change the fsgame file. IM gald you got it working. good luck and have fun man
