Anyone else playing the ROM Japan version besides me?
I am having problems in catching Mespirit (roaming now) and Cresslia (roaming also) in the wild in the grass. Is there any trick to being in the same route as they are in order to catch them? I have tried going in and out of Jubilife City (east side) and they do show up in the route to the east of that city with me. I get only one attempt to either attack them or throw a ball at them before they flee. I even tried Mean Look with Golbat with no sucess. Any suggestions?

Get a fast Pokemon that knows a move that puts it to sleep, or give a slower Pokemon a Quick Claw that knows Sleep Powder, like an Oddish, then wittle down it's HP using somewhat strong attacks.

I finally resorted to getting two masterballs and catching them both that I needed. Every time I attempted sleep powder, or hypnosis, they would flee before the attack. Geez, I really don't like masterballs, but thank god they are around for us impatient players. Onto catch Dialga and Palika now.
