Thanks for the mod.

I really wish they would had let us have 2-3 space ships, 1 to explorer the univers one to defend ur system ect. Shame rly.

Anyway cheers for the mod!.

come to think of it....it might. I dunno lol. I just think it might. I remember that when I was installing the game with a serial gen, the original Eng gen didn't work at all. I need to use a new one for it, primarily for the Chinese version. If that is the case, maybe the game does interpret things differently? But hell, I ain't master in computer...I'm just a casual gamer and you are much better than me, I can only hope you can help me.

But yeah I've already given you a pm and I'll be waiting for you Thank again and again for helping.

Regardless if it works on my rig or not.. Thanks still.. it sounds like a good mod =D.. gunna try it out now... I seem to master the skill of a space fighter rather than an explorer or expander... lol but im sure those in my shoes would understand =P

Well, I feel that the mod worked half and half, at least long enough to get myself a foothold, the pirate attacks are on a regular basis, (definitely not 100 hours), but they do seem to be a lot less.
Same with Bio Disasters

The cool thing I found out is:

You can contact yourself in the game, so I allied with myself
(also gives a hidden accomplishment for doing that)
and I plan on clearing out the starting areas for all my other save games with my current Civilization who has gotten the Supreme Being (or whatever the highest rank is)

I tested this out by Terraforming a planet in a nearby Solar System to my other Savegame (it won't let you do it in the Savegame solar system)and sure enough, when I loaded the other savegame the planet was terraformed.

So I think I'll be a "Big Brother" to all my other fledgling civilizations and kick the butss of all the Empires that are harrassing them.

yea im getting the same thing, pirate attacks continue, but at least the uber turret does take care of those without too much effort.

we do not understand the way spore uses files and such yet, people are working on it though.

According to feedback on gamefaqs, the install istructions provided work for most, but yes, some seem to need a fresh install.

It speaks to a broken mechanic how many people sacrificed one of their installs just to try. Also it will not work on some versions, which ones are still uncertain.

However, according to one EA rep on the official forums they have been monitoring both the complaints on this issue, and my mod. It is expected they will dramaticly drop the frequency in the first patch, rendering this mod obsolete.

Which would be a blessing, trying to 'fix' someone elses software is a nightmare.
