I made a new version, one that should have better compatablity. Sorry for al the delays folks. The new thread is

I found a problem I think is relater to this mod... with the new Spore patch released, I went to go download it, but it couldn't instead because my game files had changed... so I installed the uninstall, but the patch still won't work. Any idea how I can get this back to normal condition without reinstalling?

on your cd is the original spore_game.package. Delete all versions of my mod (including the uninstall) and copy the package file off your cd into the directory.

Any chance this'll be updated for patch 1.01?

According to that patch description they addressed this complaint.

However, I had promised to make another IFF the patch was inadequete.

Well the patch did in fact calm things a bit down but it doesn't apply if your on Hard mode(if I read the patch notes right).

At the moment my goal is to destroy the Grox and I cant do that when I still have to run half way across the galaxy every so many mins.

Any chance of getting a mod that just turns it off all together or at least one that can turn off the ecodisater's?

At the moment my rating with the Grox is -800+ LMAO! I got so tired of all the attacks while trying to reach the center(I wanted the Staff of Life bad!) that I destroyed some of their planets... They don't seem to like that much....

so anyone know where i can get a link for this mod that actually works?

Is there still a valid download link out there? I'd really appreciate if someone could upload the heavy version.
