Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

i just found this by doing some investigating and trial by error! when in the creature phase, if you find a BIG pile of bones, open the console, type in freecam, then click on the bones. before the bones vanish however...pause...scroll all the way out...and then back in. the bones will be there and be reuseable.

its a great way to get all the parts!

i kinda stumbled across it when i was useing the freecam just to find bones, i didnt relize the oppertunity it had to help get parts.

the forums are great, and you can get help on allmost every topic over in the irc-chat, too.


as an explanation what that is: its an systemwide scripting engine, that works in games, too.
you can define a trigger (key or other) and create a script that should be executed.
if you watch the speedrun for "Portal" on www.speeddemosarchive.com you will see this program in action.
one of the guys who did a speedrun used AHK (auto hotkey) to automaticly backward-bunnyjump.

Thanks for this! This is incredibly handy. One of my biggest quirks with Spore was having to hunt for parts every time I wanted to make a new creature. This effectively solves most of it. It'd be completely solved if only we could keep the parts for future creations once they've been found.
