So, everytime i reload Mercs, it says that my Savegames are corrupt and may not load correctly. And yes, there is no Continue button, all i can do is start a new game
Also, I found the savegame files in the MyGames folder. They're all 0KB and when i open them via the text editor, they're empty
What can be done about this?

The reason for the corruption is that the game only writes a bogus file if your My Documents path contains non-english characters. Open the start-menu, right-click My Documents, and pick another path, and it will be moved. In my case I just replaced an ö with an o, and had no problems afterwards. Someone said he had problems because he had a . in the path, so make sure it's only letters.

even if you choose another path and correct the letter problem in my case is "←" the game will make automatically the same f#@!#@cking folder so the problem is not solved please help me i really need to save my game

Did you check if the new savefiles are in the new folder or the old one? When you change the path, everything in the old folder should be moved to the new one, there shouldn't be anything left.

Ok, let's do it again.
Bring up the Start-menu Right-click My Documents Chose Properties You see the path where the folder is located on the first page, normally something like "C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Mina dokument". It will vary depending on your language. This path must not contain anything but letters, and only the letters found in the english alphabet. Change it to whatever; just be aware that the files will be moved there if you need to access them from somewhere else then the My Documents link. Click OK, and it will ask I you want to move your files. Say yes. Lastly, go to the place where My Documents were located originally, and check that it is empty. If it is not, go to the new folder and check if that one is empty. If it is, repeat from step one.
