I somehow got stuck in place after fighting a big monster in the creature stage. Is there a way to respawn? I've used the cheat so have 1000 health and dont want to leave the game running for 3 days to wait for it to die.

An Epic something, right?

Exact same problem for me too, dunno if it's trainer related or not, but I just couldn't do anything.

Luckily I had the Evolve button ready and activated it, but now in the Tribal part the other Tribe that appeared is invisible, save for the tools they're carrying... weird.

invisible creatures are usually still loading.
the should appear in a few minutes.
if they dont, try to save and reload.

got the same problem in tribal phase and epic monster. i got stuck and suddenly my creature started going up into space kind of strange, but I had a great view over my galaxy .. after a save&reload everything was okay again... i have to correct myself..nothing is okay.. it suddenly happend again when this epic creature was on the screen. (no trainer running)

Well, Epic monsters are supposed to one hit kill you, so it might be related to that. Heck, they can even kill tanks in the civilization stage, so a single creature? Yeah.

but why doesn't it kill me? and why my creature starts flying around? and if it is respawned it starts flying again. that sucks.

Yeah luckily I was at the evolve stage, but I was looking forward to grabbing all the upgrades first. oh well. Tribe worked fine (quite short compared to the other levels)
