It might be just me, but it seems that the more money you have in space phase, the faster the Grox attack you.

I'm not going to read through 11 pages so I don't know if this has already been brought up.

While using the trainer in the space stage, it prevents the ufo's radar from being used for mission related purposes. You can still manually enable to search for whatever creature or plant, but it will not find mission objectives.

Also, once you leave orbit to go out on a mission, the filter that shows mission-oriented stars ceases to work. Normally, the mission filter allows you to see very clearly what system you need to navigate to in order to carry out your mission and this function also ceases to work for me with the trainer; which is a big problem.

News to me. I've used the trainer for hours on end without any of those problems showing up...
