if there is no trainer I could probably figure something out in Cheat Engine.
the "massivly single player"-part is limited to the exchange of creatures through the sporepedia, as far as i know. (please don't hit me, if i'm not up to date here. at least not in the face!) =)
but as the game will be released in 2 days around here (germany), i don't know what options would make sense.
inf. dna would be fun, but from my experience with the spore creature creator, a "inf. complexity" would make more sense.
i NEVER was able to use all of the 2000 dna-points you got, before running into the complexitylimit.
and i wasn't able to change the limit, or even find it, with artmoney.
so lets see what the creative minds behind cheathappens can do! =)
and i think your right about the multiplayer, just sharing. it would be fun if they made an mmo. but lol, after the creatures ppl made with the creator, an mmo type of gameplay would be... less successful
on the other hand, i don't know what will be with the final game.
creatures WILL get complexer as what we are able to do with the creature creator.
but i think we should wait for the game to fully release, before planing what would be good and what not. =)
(i hope those guys at 'Saturn' [electronics-, music- and software-store] pull the game out early. maybe tomorow allready!) =)
