    My game makes me lose a few minutes after I start it. Anybody know how to fix this? I've already tripple checked everything I changed, and i'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with that.
    The changes do take effect but the game just makes me lose after a few minutes.

    did you try to play online with an invalid key?

    I heard about that before and apparantly that was the problem. They put a suicide something script in the game which would be activated once somebody got online with an invalid serial. Strange thing is, i havn't played in online in since new years, and this only started happening yesterday.
    No biggie though e-mailed EA, with a picture of the game and a picture of the serial I used. Few hours later I had a new serial now. Just had to reinstall the game.

    Ok, looked all over for the Balrog and AOD time limit, but I could not find it. It has to exist, I'm just having a very hard time with it. Commodog, any ideas here?

    Some posts ago somebody asked how to get more Ring or Evenstar points from the start, well I don't know about that one. But you can change the amount of experience you need to gain to get a new point.. Just go to Rank.INI its all in there, default is for SP or MP the other one is Campaign.

    And i don't think that time is for the AOD or the Balrog to stay can be changed but you can always just edit the time it takes for the spel to recharge, so you can summon it again the second it dissapears

    Its in Specialpower.ini
    SpecialPower SpellBookBalrogAlly
    Enum = SPECIAL_SPELL_BOOK_BALROG_ALLY
    ReloadTime = 360000 ; in milliseconds
    PublicTimer = No
    RadiusCursorRadius = 75.0 ; Match the radius in FXList SummonBalrogStart
    RequiredScience = SCIENCE_BalrogAlly
    ViewObjectDuration = 5000
    I'm not sure yet, cause i havn't tried but my guess would be that ObjectDuration can change the time the summoned thing stays

    also in the science.ini the variable SciencePurchasePointCost are the points needed to purchase the power. (lowest you can go is 1 (0 = unpurchasable)

    One thing about the specialpower thing though, once you change how easily Ring points or Evenstar points are made it changes for both you and the computer, so keep that in mind. And don't be surprised when the computer suddenly has an Army of the dead raiding your camp in the first minute 😵
