Can someone tell me how and where to edit the spell book, hero powers, and hero stats. On the Good Campaign, I cannot stop Gandalf from being killed by the Balrog. I figure with a few added powers, uppped stats, and faster regeneration time of spells, I can take him.

    P.S. great info here

Heh, interesting. A website based around breaking the "rules", yet enforces inexplicable rules. A possible contradiction. Just think about it, don't dismiss everything as a power play or challegene of authority. Even though that is exactly what leads to the betterment of a society. That's why they're reffered to as Revolutions, but I digress. Logically, bastard is far more harsh and a potential personal attack than pis<-sed, which is normally used in conjuction with simple self dissatisfaction and literally simply discribes a certain stream of water. If you happened to walk into a room and said to a person, "I'm ****ed at you," they would most likely, in a mildy agitated manner reply with, "Why?" But if you walked in and said "You're a bastard." They most definitely would become mad and reply with an even more colorful metaphor than the one they received from you. Rules should be upheld an respected only if they are logical. I doubt it would take much coding to relinquish that word from your database. I could get into the truth that the context is all that really matters not the word, but that would best serve an active conversation, not a post and I can understand that managing the context rather than the word itself would be exceedingly difficult. Like all parts of a website, even the rules should evolve. Think about it Oh and, by the way, has anyone yet figured out how to edit the Power given after completion of each campaign map so as to get the powerful spells much sooner in the game?

then edit the values to 0% for Armor HeroLightArmor, Armor HeroArmor, Armor ToughHeroArmor, and Armor HeroArmorMounted.

Can someone help me? I downloaded all of the INI files, cut out the INI.big file and it didn't work, then I changed the target to what that forum suggested, and re-pasted the INI.big file, but it still doesn't work! Could someone help me and tell me what's wrong, please?

Well, first of all, tell us exactly where you put the directory with all the ini files. If you put them in the correct place and put the big.ini somewhere else or just deleted it, then it should kick in automatically. Of course, you wouldn't notice any difference till you modified something that would be immediately noticable in game, like gandalf's health in the gamedata.ini. Plus, make sure you're editing the gamedata.ini inside the main ini directory. Not the one in the ini/default directory. There's really not much else to it. If you've gotten rid of the big.ini and put the ini directory in the right place it should work. There's no other way it could get the ini information without one or the other there, so it's gotta be reading the new directory for the game to run.
