pretty good show... dante pretty kick !@#

i was thinking of whether getting it or not, i dont like animes, but im a big fan of dmc so.. do u recommend it? rentals and such are not an option in my country.

If u are a die hard Dante mania, then this anime is A MUST !
If u like to watch so common anime with mediocre story & action, then this anime is yours too
If u never watch any anime about a male protagonist being bullied again & again by female without can do nothing... then this anime is YOURs too

But if u like to see good anime with good & cool action then lets pass the anime...

The art is OK & good enough to depict Dante & friends in an anime world
The music ? considering even the music in the newest game is not so good... then the music for the anime is pretty good too

BUT... unfortunately...
To be honest... the story is so weak & so COMMON like any hundred or thousands anime about a male protagonist being bullied by his female coworker or female boss or female rival again & again...
Even this anime depict Lady as a *****Y girl that like to shopping & bullied Dante then a serious mysterious girl compared with DMC 3

OK that's OK no problemo... since the MAIN STUFF about DMC is the FIGHTING sequence eh ?
Unfortunately too...
Not just the story is so common & shallow too, but the supposedly MOST IMPORTANT thing in the anime like the ACTION is so so... pathetic if I can say... (if u play the game, then u will know that the anime series never be on par on at least the same level with the action sequence in the game)
The fighting is so boring & so fast... just 1 - 2 slash.. bum the end OF THE ANIME (not just the end of the fighting)...
Just shoot some bullet... the monster died pathetically... then the end...
Almost all the FIGHTING sequence is in the near ending of the anime too so end the fighting end of the movie too

Almost all the monster in the anime is so weak & puny plus pathetic... even SPARDA APPRENTICEs is so weak too & they both killed TOO EASILY by Dante !
Worse... even the anime choose to skip these figthing sequence... so in the end.. all we know just that they both DIE pathetically & never know how Dante kill them
Almost all monster in these game DIE with just 1 hit only & they can almost do nothing too to hamper or pin Dante to dangerous situation yet THEY ALWAYS COME in so puny numbers too
The monster design is so bad too... there is no cool monster like the boss monster in the game at all like Mundus, etc
So pathetic at all that even Dante never need to go to DEVIL TRIGGER to finish them all

Plus all the time in the anime are wasted to just seeing Dante eat his favorite Strawberry sundae again & again !
The fighting sequence is never be the MAIN PROPORTION of the anime (they only last in not more than 5 - 10 minutes)... yet the story is so boring too

All Dante's mission in the anime is so puny too for the like of Dante that can destroy thousand of demon armies
There aren't any cool mission or thrilling mission... all the mission that Dante get is just so BORING...
The only differentiate between this anime with other DETECTIVE or ACTION anime is just this anime bearing the Devil May Cry brand ONLY...

So if u just want to pass the time or doesn't have any work to do or just a Dante mania... then this anime is for u
But if u like to see a good & thrilling anime with a lots of good & cool fighting, etc... there are a lof better anime choices out there...
Lets rent the anime first...
There are a lof of BETTER anime like Karas, Kamui no Ken, Golgo 13, Appleseed, Evangelion, JoJo, Cowboy Bebbop, Brave Story, etc...

Even better playing the game then wasted your precious time to see this anime !

Don't set your LEVEL so high if u want to watch & ENJOY this anime cuz u will be ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED with the lack of good fighting action coreography & story building

Of course... its depend on how style too

So just my advice... rent or borrow the anime first before u buy it...

I liked Devil May Cry games but dint like mutch the anime, wonder way though 🤔

i wont read past the first paragraph, i understand its a spoiler judjing from the first criterium, i should watch it but...
rentals are not an option in my country. buying, downloading pirated versions(which is so damn common here) or nothing.
sooo flowing from this... should i buy it?

i've watched the anime,it was great:P
it shows how strong dante COULD be ( with the right player xD )
