I can't seem to get this to work- i've tried using it on the desktop and in the game directory, but still get the same message, i've even tried opening while the games running "cannot find main program exe". I've used several trainers before and most have worked fine. In case it makes any difference i am running windows vista ultimate 32-bit and high end components so i can play using the highest setting.

thanks for any light anyone can shed on the subject.

Tried that- even with administrator turned on and off and in compatability mode. I just can't understand why

If you installed your game into the c:\Program Files\ directory (most people put their games there, under a "Games" subdirectory or whatever 'cuz it's the default installation place) then stupid Windows locks out any changes to the program. !!THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS PROTECTION!! This may be causing your problem, or it may not. If your game is installed in the Program Files folder, try uninstalling it and re-installing it into a different folder (I put mine in C:\Games), which will bypass the file protection protocol Windows puts on the Program Files directory.

NOTE: You can copy your savegame files before you uninstall, then paste them into the folder with the new install so you don't have to start from scratch.

I hate Vista...XP was much more user friendly.
You either dig it, or you don't.

Thanks for that, but i've gone back to XP and for games trainers working its a lot better than Vista.

    Cheers though
