for all the time that i hav had Halo 3 and XBL, i could not get steppin' razor. it continues to elude me. so, can anyone out there give me any tips on how i approach an enemy? especially in a sword fight, anyone got a sequence of buttons that will help out in this fight?

First off, get familiar with the levels and where all the major weapons respond at (like the rockets, laser, and sniper). All the pros constantly use the crouch button(because it makes you invisible on enemy radar) when approaching an enemy! Change the crouch option in the controller menu so that you stay crouched when you click the right stick. This helps so that your finger doesnt cramp while holding down the right stick button. As for sword fights, use the melee button first(B button) then follow up with the lock on attack (right trigger). You'll be ownin' in no time! Good luck.

wait for a team swords game or a map with the sword. And then just take control of the swords and try to know when people are coming.

This acheviement needs to be done in lone wolves, if I remember correctly. So it makes it a little tough.

i odn't know how helpful this could be seeing as the most people i've played with on halo is 3 but get a game with lots of people andkeep a sword as one weapon as soon as you can find it, constantly check your motion tracker and go on small maps with lots of corners, cold storage looks like a good one, try to save your sword until multiple people are nearby and watch out for shotguns and other swords, if the group is all nearby together than keep pressing B to attack not RT because it's quicker, like i said, it might not be that helpful because i don't ahve XBL...

or theirs always just getting a lvl with 4 freinds and asking them to let you kill them all with a sword...

since the achievement requires to score a triple kill with a sword on Lone Wolves, does it work if i get a double kill with a grenade and then finish it off with a sword?

probably not, i still go for the 3 freinds stand still for you idea...

for the online ones i just go on with friends and make em stand still like for the mongoose one were you have to run someone down thay stand still and i ram em i do that with all the online ones i guess you could say the setup or staged.
