Pointless? There is a totally awesome CAMPAIGN, with a 4 player co-op, A MULTIPLAYER that cant be beaten in which you can go into LOCAL or SYSTEM LINK play and play with just as much people as you can in Xbox live. A FORGE setting in which you can create completely tricked out maps just the way you want them. A THEATRE mode in which you can watch saved films time and time again. A SCREENSHOT option in which you can capture your most epic or coolest moments and save them for future viewing. An ARMOR AND SPECIES selection in which you have an ungodly ammount of options to trick out your character. And I havnt even started....
Also, since you have silver, you can still download everything that you could if you had gold, the only difference is that you cant play online.
Besides that.. If you have no money, and no job, then in fact how do you own an Xbox 360, Halo 3, and manage an internet connection?
