once i download the saved game file what do i do to be able to plays it, i put the file into the savegame folder but nothing happens, when i open the game the only file there is my orignal file.i have windows vista please help thanks

First of all, backup your savegame!!!

The savegame folder is "Test Drive Unlimited" and located in "My Documents" folder or "c:\documents and settings\username\my documents" in windows xp. I don't know whether it is same in windows vista (maybe it's same). To backup your savegame, copy "Test Drive Unlimited" folder to somewhere you think safe.

After that, extract the file you have downloaded last time using WinZIP or WinRAR. The extracted file is "Test Drive Unlimited" folder. Replace the savegame folder in "My Documents" with the savegame folder you've just extracted.

I have a question!
Is this Savegame download ok or does this download give me a virus or crashes it my PC? Or crash it my TDU? Please tell it to me is it save to download this file because i wont lose my TDU!!!
I would be happy if somebody could tell it to me!

That's why I told you to backup your savegame first so if something happens you don't have to worry, just restore the backupped files and everything goes to normal.

The savegame is ok and doesn't contain any viruses or crash your system , I swear. I have checked it. If you don't believe, scan the savegame you downloaded with your antivirus.

thanks dud! Now i have a great savegame with a lot of money and great houses and great cars!!! but the language is english and i´m from germany but that doesn´t hurt to much because my english is good enough for these words!!

is there a way to change the name on the above mantioned save game? 😵
