Looks like those on a WinXP with SP3 is probably the cause of this problem. Did a new install on a XP with SP2 and the game works fine without any drivers update.

Well, it's not. I've deleted physxcore.* and the game runs smoothly for about 10 minutes, after that my PC goes OFF Happened two times already.

wasnt the case for me i also hav nvidia card and all i had to do was get the new drivers just came out it adds physx on 8 series and above and delete the physxcore and it workd fine

Yep Physxcore thats all it took is to delete that and bammo im in no need to do all that other crap uninstall delete registry and reinstall. Thanks this place does truely rock
