Oh, right.....

I now remember why I moved out of my parents house.

My dad seems to find it impossible to close any bags or bins or milk jugs or cereal boxes or front doors.

I have to buy two boxes of cereal each week--one for my dad to leave open and one for my mom and I to hide in the closet and keep fresh.

I don't eat potato chips because my dad opens the bag all the way down the side and then leaves it open on the counter.

Then he complains when they go stale.

Maybe I'll end up moving out of my own house to escape one of the reasons why I moved away from my parents.

But, I couldn't very well have them crammed in some ****ty apartment or paying a new mortgage with their retirement savings.

edit- I also have to make sure I leave the house after him in the morning, because he doesn't close the front door.

@dhampy-Your dad sounds like my sister. Leaves everything out, leaves it open, lets it go bad, etc.
