Rome: Total War Message Board  

ok guys and girls i may be a dummy but how do you get the console to appear. i have tried all the rome games and every key i can find. please help a senile old fart

The key that looks like what's below this sentence...

It's to the left of the "1" key and above the "Tab" key. So with all three together, the area of the keyboard looks like this...

Tab

TRIED THAT ON THE CORDLESS KEYBOARD DOES NOT WORK. JUST CHANGED TO A PLUG IN KEYBOARD AND TRIED STILL DOES NOT WORK NOT GOING TO BOTHER ANYMORE. THANKS ANYWAY

I have the same exact problem...I've reinstalled the game a half a dozen times and the console does not come down...ne ideas?

i can only assume its something to do with vista. if it is try the trainer i did get that to work

I've seen this problem all over message boards about vista. It seems that vista doesn't allow the "console" function in some games. It works for me in Neverwinter Nights 2 but not RTW.... It's anoying.

I have Vista and the console works on my system.
