How did you make them get past the geyser and get to the wheel? I've been trying for the past hour and it's driving me crazy!!!! I used the blues and some of them go down there, get killed, revive themselves and then refuse to go back.

Create a guard post and sweep it through the geyser field to the wheel, when it gets there the bridge will automatically extend without you using or loosing minions.
