It actually depends which costume you choose for Ashley, better off unlocking the armor suit so she'll almost be unbeatable. Well, it's very unlikely for enemies to attack her since she's covered in shiny metal.

Al - none of this stuff is official CACOM gamepley. These are all hacks to make the game more interesting. What I am talking about is a hack so that the main character that plays the game is NOT Leon, it's either Krausser, Wessker, Ada or Ashley. And these hacks are not provided by Gameshark either, they were made by users. the point I was making was that with each of those characters you can only use whatever weapons they are given in the Mercenaries game. You have to first play as leon and buy those weapons from the Merchant and do a game save, then apply th specific hack to that save. Ashley isnt in Mercenaries (although that would be so cool huh?), so you have to play her without weapons (someone on u tube wrote "never give a blonde a gun, baaad idea" lol), so you have to play as her without any weapons - you have to kill by slamming doors in their faces, leading them into traps etc. and it's just about impossible to get anywhere. Does no one else on this board know about this stuff??

Well ok then, you've pretty much researched more than me about this, because honestly, i have no prior knowledge about hacking and stuff. I simply don't use cheats because it seems all useless to me. it's better off unlocking every character by doing it the manual way.
