Mass Effect Message Board  

Okay, I play games and have a lot of games too. What I would like to know how do you tell a good game from a bad one when it first comes out. In addition, there are only certain types of games I like to play, FPS, strategy. Now I do not know which these fall under but I like these games Spellforce Shadow wars, Mass Effect, Halo, C&C, BlackSite Area 51, Supreme Commander, Prey, Half-Life 2. I have over sixty games here and about 10% suck. Are there any other games out there that you can compare with Halo, Spellforce Shadow wars, and Mass Effect, even C&C type games? Now I hate to play on-line I have tried it and gotten not great at it, but good. It’s just not the same there is no story line no plot no goal the way I see it and I get bored with it real fast. So do any of you people out there know of any good games, because I hate going to the store and buying a game only to find out it sucks or that its designed for on line play and dose not have a campaign or the campaign is really short or its just individual missions based.

Go to www.metacritic.com/ they have reviews on almost everything and they score there games on scores other review sights have made.

they have never turned me into a bad game and I have found many of hidden gems because of them.
