Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts Message Board  

This really doesnt have to do much with CH but ..anyone else have the direct 2 driver version of this game? Ever notice the irony of its auth process. Lets say you dont have the internet for a moment, upgrading whatever they might be doing..you dont have the net for a while. Fine, but if you go to play the D2d version, ok ..it cant auth online, so you have to do it manually.

Now you would just pop in the dvd....and..it would..verify..hmm oops, No dvd. So instead it wants to auth through the D2d site,which is online, and so far i havnt found an offline auth method (such as the ones that are listed here for offline trainer use)

The guys at D2D could learn a few things from this site heh.

Ever considered a no-CD/DVD crack?

I didn't think those would work for the D2D series..hmmmm.

Not sure why that didn't cross my little tiny gray brain but...ill give it a shot.

Well not so far. The ones i found are made for the dvd version not the d2d. So each time it asks for the auth and i have to exit out and go through the whole auth process again. Its annoying you would think d2d would step up and create offline keys but they dont. Apparently im supposed to always have the net *shrugs*

Then again i could have done things wrong. This game is really fused into the network maybe it just cant be done.
