Yes, I'll admit the producers are running out of ideas to put into their shows, like Team Rocket, they're just getting annoying now, especially their motto:

Prepare for trouble...
... make it double

To protect the world from devastation...
...to unite all peoples within our nation.

To Denonunce the evils of truth and love...
...To extend our reach to the stars above.

I know that's changed from time to time, but I still find it annoying. And all they do is go after Ash's Pikachu, or sometimes other ones but they always fail. If you ask me they should make an episode where they successfully catch Pikachu.

Yes , but that does not mean that it's only for three year olds! It's just ESRB rating!

If you really like a game, then other people's opinions on it shouldn't affect your own that much.

Pokemon is a game for all ages, it's not like "polly pocket's secret dollhouse adventures," it's a game that can be enjoyed by anyone, not just those under the age of ten.

Hey don't make fun of my favorite game! Er, um, I mean, Latios is right, people shouldn't affect other people's opinions, that's such a big problem going on around at schools today. Pokemon is just a little problem in the "big deal".

As a kid you play it for the fact that its pokemon and you wanna imagine yourself as a pokemon master and pick out all your favourite characters and beat the baddies etc

As a young adult you play it for the fact that beneath the kiddy surface its a very technical game and you tend to pick your team based on stats and move sets and abilities and be able to totally annihilate anyone you come across etc

Thats my take on it anyway
