Ok.. after trial and error wich took a couple hours i figured out when exacitly it starts to crash using the instant research.

Namely its when your getting high up into the unit tree..

The first one that starts it is the F-112 Blackbird 2
And pretty much anything past that (Tech wise)

So untill or if there is a fix for this just let your research run normaly on those last few

Also....... Just some advice .. Do them in order the regular techs that is don't start any that you dont have the prereq's for (This caused a crash also)

ok, going to clear this up for you.

The reason your game crashes is because you are leaving the RESEARCH MENU open when you select the F-112 Blackbird2, when you select that item its displaying a list of the DAYS TO RESEARCH, you MUST!! shut that down before you start reducing the research list items to 1 day, (best guess is that the code that CH uses is running through lots of functions and if you have both the LIST on the right open and the MAIN LIST, which it seems CH uses this for their cheat code, you will indeed crash the game, a simple solution to this is exactly what they said in the nfo, make sure all your items are in the MAIN list before you start reducing and make sure your on the MAIN page of the RESEARCH tab, which actually starts off as SPENDING. Some games are so complex to cheat they require special instructions and without the owners writing all the dos and donts i think its up to us the users to show a little common sense.

So, to clarify finally, make sure you select all your research and then (best to click back onto the spending tab) then start reducing from the main list and you will not crash the game.

btw, anything can be researched without crashing as long as its on that main list, ive currently tested 98% of all researchable items.

He is correct. This game was extremely difficult to train. We actually gave up on it once and only came back to if after so many members continued asking for a trainer. Because everything runs through the same commands we had to make sure that very special instructions are followed for the options to work. ANY DEVIATION from these instructions can and will cause the game to crash. We apologize that it had to be this way, but it was the only way to create a working trainer for the game which we wanted you guys to have.
