I installed it twice and it still doesn't work .Every movie in this game stops at the middle,and I

go to resident evil folder and you will find movie folder is separated from re4 folder. Drag that movie folder and put it into re4 folder. Try this ,Hope useful

I had this same problem on my old rig. I first tried to play this game last year and movies didn't work, same with the video calls, those were completely out of the picture, I just found out about them this time around when they actually happened.
There were also other problems.

I believe the problem lied with my VGA card.
Used to be an ATI Radeon 9600XT. Game was funky.
Now I have an nVidia GeForce 9600GT and the game runs smoothly.
With the updated version and the mouse mod.

Well.. much people are getting problems with this.

I can't affirm that, but, for me, Resident Evil 4 decodes the video (.mpg) in-game.

Then try to install pack of codecs, like k-lite.

The same applies to other games that run on the pc. Not all of them are reliable afterall...

It's always better to play a game on an any other console other than a pc.
