Hey guys..i just want to as if mass effect in PC is stable and bug-free..?i want to buy this game when this game is released in SEA..

I haven't had it crash yet. But it's not bug free. I haven't seen a game in probably a decade that had no obvious bugs.

"Bug free?" What's that?

Stable, yes.

Not 1 crash hear but the only bug i have seen are them big A#$ nasty alien bugs on some of these planets. lol No i've seen only one so far and that is the elevators in the game sometime when u go into them push the button if your team doesnt fall into formation next to u the elevator doors wont close locking it up and you are unable to move only fix is reloading the last save, so i got where i save right b4 i go into an elevator.

So ELEVATOR BUG is what i have found....

Any one else?

It's fairly bug free. As mentioned it does have that annoying elevator bug that can pop up at times and I have had a few instances of party members becoming unresponsive , but over all it is in good shape. It is however very demanding on your pc.

Oh man Demanding is an understatment, i really do not have a bit of lag what so ever this game is breath takeing and visual stunning on my pc and almost near perfect but, It runs my PC HOT over any other games, Gears of War, Assassin Creed, Turok, just to name a few, this game WOW! im ok i can keep the warning buzzers going off if i just point a box fan at it it gives just enough air to stop them warnings. lol

Of course we have been having a heat wave from where im at so the added heat and humidity isnt helping. Today though has been a much cooler day and so far i played for about an hour and a half earlier and i didnt have to use the fan on it so i think the heat wave was the man problem. I HOPE!

Well, so far the game keeps crashing at the cutscene where you start to descend onto Eden Prime. For some reason I keep getting a "missing thread" error and the game shuts down. Anyone know what could be causing this or how to solve it?

Specs are: WinXP Pro SP2, Intel P4 3.00 GHz, 2048 Ram, ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256 Mb

I apologize to anyone who yells at me if this isn't the right area to post this, but it's the only problem I've had with stability of the game.

Bug-free?... Don't make me laugh. ><'' Seriously though, I haven't even been able to get the PC version installed yet... Either its an XML error, or one of the many 'safe guards' they've added to the software to make it less efflicted to pirating, its all bad for the most part...

I'll be trading in this copy of the game for a newer... hopefully better one soon. Maybe this next one won't have so many quirks to it. But personally, I should've waited until there were a few more patches out.
