Help: dev-console on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare PC Message Board - Page 2

I can't find the "devconsole". I have enabled the console from the game options, but don't know how

Ok hi i am new here i have tried so many different ways to use the cheats for some reason it is not working i do get the console up by using the ~ and enter the the codes (seta thereisacow 1337) and i have even used this one (therisacow 1337) then put the code in and it is not working please help me out.

Type seta thereisacow 1337 and then press ENTER. Type spdevmap and then press ENTER. You will receive an error. This is normal.

for me it doesn't work

I have console enabled, then wrote down this in the main menu, then received this error; but after loading a specific game, pressing ~ and writing for instance "noclip" (without quotes of course) I have no option activated! the same applies to all other cheats
