Ok, thats good.

I asked on several forums and got no answer at all, its just on nearly every forum they was saying, its happening on legit copies as well.

But i am glad its really is a crack issue.

I'm not glad its a crack issue. This is retarded, I DON'T WANT to use the cd, it's just a hassle getting it out putting it in and switching when I wanna play other games, I NEVER use the cds unless I have to install. It's just a matter of time before a working crack is released and then all the effort in the world would have gone to waste. well, let's just say their time was wasted on security, when it should have been placed on not hiding resolutions...at least I noticed that 1600x1200 wasn't on my list, I had to use the arrow keys and BAM there it was, but I couldn't scroll to it so wtf.

well, the crack isn't really needed for Mass Effect, you don't need the DVD in the drive after installing it.
