Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Message Board  

I haven't been ablt to play Oblivion for a while because I get on it and it freezes on me. I know it is not my X-Box 360, it had the red blinking light error and got replaced, but there is nothing wrong with the disk. Does anyone know what I can do?

Try saving your game on a memory unit and/or getting the fan attachment (hooks on the back).

It's a general problem. I had a glitch that froze my game after the end of the Clavicus Vile Shrine quest.

If you have XBL there should be an update to fix any glitches, or if you buy or download the Shviering Isles that has a patch to.

this happened to me too. i think it was because i overloaded the game somehow. (Via there being to much for the game to process at once. like to many soliders or weapons or arrows,etc.)

I will try this as soon as I get back on the game. Luckily, I did not delete it yet.

And InfectedNinja, what do you mean by too many weapons, arrows, etc. Do you mean too many items in a single place in your house or just too many items in your inventory?

If you place your whole inventory of light objects like food and utensils then all your armor...so you drop 500 lb of stuff in a shop, then throw a power 1 range 100 fireball and the game will overload.

Just try not to have a ton going on at once. What is supposed to happen, the Xbox can handle.
