Since Mewtwo dosent exsist in this game dose anyone know how to get mew

I haven't proved this one ms.Tomboy but this is what a friend told me:

"Catch all unkowns
Have M-E-W in your party
Fly to Lake of Rage
Swim up and down untill you run in to a Mew!" (Kindda like the one for celebi)

both of u r wrong ! u can only catch mew in red/blue go 2 www,pokemonelite2000.comgo on red/blue then catch mew

ok i traded off my yellow verion and i got mewtwo and when i went to my pokedex and i read about it on the page under the picture it said that mewtwo lived in a undiscovered cave and there used to be a cave in cerulean the twon in kanto i know where the cave was in the old games first go up the path that takes to bills house ecppect when you get off the birge with all the trainers on it go to the left where all the grass is thats going down use surf till you get to the end of the river thats where it use to be you might want to check around there
