Saving. on Dead Rising XBox 360 Message Board - Page 1

is it just me or does the saving in this game suck? i truly wish there was an autosave feature when you reach a cut scene. i find myself getting ticked off when i die and have to start all over.

yes its very frustrating i am still at the first save spot in the game and when i die i respon there its so dumb

haha, i'm wondering is that the only spot and do you have to always go back there or something

No no, you can save all over the mall.
There is a save point in every toilet, male and female. The gym in Al Fresca plaza also has a save point, the yellow door.
There's also some random save points in other stores dotted about, the map should clear that up. Although there is only one saved game slot, which basically ruins it.

so what happens if you dont have the game completed in 72 hours?

Well, I assume you mean not following the storyline. You can complete the game in anyway shape or form, as long as you get to the helipad on the last day, at noon.
However, the only way to get the achievement for overall story completion is to follow the story line.
