If you put your XBOX360 on a slant, upside-down or vertical, it can scratch the disc, usually in a circle. Also sounds pretty bad.

The XBOX 360 scratches discs if you move it while there a disc spinning inside it. As long as you keep it on a solid surface and make sure to take out any games before moving it then nothing will go wrong.
