ouch. putting down my next fav game like that. although i agree with you, you didnt have to say it out loud. although you are entitled to your opinion. i am kinda mad that the date got pushed to oct. 14th. it better be the best game of the year.

Hopefully the extra development time will mean a better overall game. I doubt they would do that if there wasn't a good reason.

just because some one or thing is original, doesnt mean its the best, like music[to most peoples opinion]. also, GTA is going realistic and saints row 2, you can practicly die [insurance fraud]but walk away like nothing.

well it cost me a extra 10 bucks but i talked my friend at gamestop into giving me the game early.tho ive only played the first couple of missions i will say its not as good as gta4 however i wish gta had as much custom moding as sr2.the custom cars ,ink,hair, clothes are sick.so far i dont see much that is dif from the first game other than more mods to choose from.the storyline seems to be a little better than the first.the game still runs a little choppy as the first game did.was it worth the 70 bucks to get it 10 days early? YES! im not a very patient person.and my friend knows if he holds a game like that up in front of my nose,like a steak in front of a dogs nose, i will bite.

update: ok ok i change my mind,this game smokes gta4.there is so much more to do with the missions ,side missions,custom mods.
motorcycles,attakchoppers,speedboats, pulling off trick fighting maneuvers working over Rival gang members, its f#$king sick.rockstar may be the originator,but they better see what the compitition (volition) is doing, unless they want to be left in the dust.

Ok just listen people. So what if GTA came out first? That doesn't mean crap. Saints Row 2 will be better than GTA 4 because of the customization, gangs, and will have more things to do. GTA 4 has horrible online play, the host can't kick nobody w/out 1/2 of the people agreeing. There will probably be more things to do in SR2, offline and online. SR2 will probably be longer than GTA 4. GTA 4 only took me 23 hours to beat. Replay value? None. In SR1, there wasn't much of a replay value either. Just because a game is similar to another game, it doesn't mean it's just a rip off clone. SR2 will be better than GTA 4 by a long shot.

Yea and there is more freedom, which they took out in gta 4
