I have both systems and both versions. PS3 has slightly better graphics, less load times, and A LOT less pop-up than 360. I found the PS3 online runs better. Xbox live does not matter at all as the lobbys are on the server so there is no difference in the online lobbys. If there is exclusive download content, I'd be willing to bet Sony has some planned also. And probably one year after either system's exclusive content is released, the license usually expires and it will be available for both systems. I have actually been playing the 360 version a little more as I don't have the new rumble sixaxis and I love the thunder vibrations and lap dance vibrations in the strip clubs...also the vibe on phone. I have always liked the 360 controller more than the PS3 controller, but the PS3 version's vehicles seem to handle a little better. So there ya have it. I have heard a lot of fanboys choosing one over the other...there are trade-offs to some degree, but I don't think much of it matters. If you have the rumble sixaxis controller, I would say get the PS3 version...no one seems sure about the down loadable content yet, so that's a personal choice at this point. Have fun!

i have not played it on ps3 but i sure as hell believe their is no big difference between the two consoles. 360 paid for the 50 million dollar extensions so i guess 360 wins.

Kewl kewl. Excellent suggestions and opinions still. Seems like it doesn't really matter which system for the most part. Both will give a great GTA experience. Thanks guys. ^_^

I had the distinct pleasure of playing my ps3 version in the same room as my friend who played on his 360. on same type of TVs (both same model)
we started at the same time. He got right into it(pretty much) I waited patiently for download (including version update lol) but I quickly caught up and passed my friend as he waited for loads. In fact the ps3 version is a lot faster.the graphics were a bit smoother on the ps3. Out side of that the games were identical, but we didn't look for online additions etc.
regardless of 360 vs ps3 its a great game on either system
