i don't really know i would have to say i like and dislike them all because of each of the races have good and bads sides to them. for ex. the tau are awesome at range but as soon as the enemy gets in close they die real quick for the most part thats kinda the same for the imperial guard, eldar, and dark eldar where as the space and chaos marines, sisters of battle and necrons are good and range and close combat the orks or more for close combat and not so good at range. also the orks have one big advantage over everyone and thats the kinda have no pop cap and you can build massive armies that just sweep across the map unstoppable. i would have to say that im not really able to pick just one tho i would have to say space and chaos marines, tau, and orks. i like them all for different reasons tho and i mainly pick what race im going to use on what race or races im fighting and what way of fighting i really need the most. so really they are all the best races if used in the right way and useing the the best part of the race to take advantage of the weakest part of the enemy's race.

on topic:

my one and only fave > SPACEMARINES. once i got 6 upgraded marine squads w/ apothecary and a commander with a chaplain, its hard to defeat. i dont even bother to use vehicles. but in case of troubles, i always have a backup the librarian with 4 marine squads.

enemy vehicles and buildings is easy to destroy with an upgrades marine squads armed with missile launcher. even baneblade is just a second to destroy.
