2.300 Trainer is released but 2.301 patch came out on the same day, is there any way to choose not to update to 2.301 ???

You can cancel the download every time you log in (or simple disconnect your modem) but without the patch you'll not be able to play online.
If you want to play with the trainer update your account - as soon as it is avaliable you'll have it.

If I cancel the download I will have to exit to windows. Yes, it said something like "without the patch you'll not be able to play online". The only option left to me is "Exit to Windows" if I don't download and install it. Disconnect the internet results the same did you really did that ?

in fact since my post till now I've been playing.

You also need to have The OF cd in your drive.

Disconnect from internet helps. You will be asked to connect to your account, you will do that, but next (because You are disconnect) You will be asked to insert original CD of the game to be checked. You will do that, game will check your cd and next You will see the main menu and You can continue to play unpatched. Thats the way it is. And I hope trainer for 2.301 will appear soon.

grandovan: yeah you are right! just unplug internet. I was making stupid mistakes ......
