Ok i have done some tinkering and found the best cars to race against the kings with !!!! Also it will depend a little on your PERSONAL driving experience and skill.

Grip king - Nissan Skyline (r35) NON PROTO.
Drag King - Mustang GT500 (NEW ONE)
Drift King - Corvette Z06 (look for Z06 not the C6)
Speed King - Mustang GT500(NEW ONE)/ Nissan Skyline(r35)NON PROTO.
Showdown King - *** for showdown king u will use the same cars u have for GRIP and DRIFT ... U WILL WANT TO DEFEAT ALL OTHER KINGS BEFORE GOING UP TO RYO(showdown king) so to get max exp in all racing types...(specially drift) Once u face ryo in the first grip use the skyline and stay aheadof him after the first 2 turns and you will win that race. On the first drift make sure u hold your lines and try to get around or over 3000 u might have to try over n over to get it i finally won with 2 points more than him LOL then for the next grip skyline again and stay ahead after the first few turns and you will win. Next drift same thing score high or ull try forever to win. finall race just stay in front and you will win plane and simple.

I have 100 % completion and have about 20 or so cars LOL
it takes time and effort but dont addict urself to the game.
I played for about 5 hours a day 2 times a week had the game beat in 2 weeks roughly 20 hours of play time so if u wanna beat it BADLY u can do it in 1 day LOL but if u got questions about what cars for what races post a comment !!!

Not trying to make you look bad or anything, but honestly you can beat them with almost any car in the game. I raced the Grip King with my Zonda and I came within a couple hundred feet of lapping him, so any car could easily destroy him.

As for Drift, I beat him with an RX-7, but a Silvia S15 would do just as well.

And for speed, you can't beat the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. It reaches 250 MPH way faster than the Skyline R34 and the AWD keeps it incredibly stable.

im just saying for INEXPERIENCED gamers lol if u know what ur doing u can win wit almost nethin but i found these specific cars to be a lil better in facing the kings

Ah, OK, fair enough. I thought you were saying you need those cars to bet the kings.
