do these trainers actually work or are they just viruses, keyloggers, spys ets designed to muck up your computer and/or gameplay? 😵

I really don't know about that new stuff unlocked as I really don't know what you are talking about. 😵
But I can say so far if you read the instructions of a trainer, if it is from cheatplanet there will be no trojan, keylogger or all that they use to report. All the trainers are scanned by many difrent kinds of antivirus programs before upload.
There may be key items in the trainer that will be detected as a virus but that file is nessesery in a trainer and wont effect your computer as a virus or keylogger.
(This is joust some research I did on the trainers once long ago so this may not be 100% correct but I strongly suggest you checking the "Trainer Trubbleshooting Guide" for more information.)
