I tried installing need fro speed on my puter with vista and it wouldnt work. i got so frustrated i took the game back to the store and got a credit for a ps3 version. i have trouble with all my game with vista on. wish i never got the vista.

I had nothing but trouble with Vista. Now that I'm back with XP I have no problems. Vista wouldn't accept the new games,only the old ones. XP accepts both old and new.

maybe the exe has a problem...try using a "conventional" exe of prostreet if you know what i mean by "conventional" and see if it works with that
and i don't think that the windows is the prob...i say that the game itself is the prob here, not the windows
