Wow... I don't know what to say...
How uneducated of a statement can that actually be? I don't know, but it sure is off the scale.
Justify one, just ONE aspect of an Evo, bearing in mind it's history and conception of the original "Evolution" project started by Mitsubishi in 1992, that justifies the Evo being a forsaken Tuner rather than a Rally great.
The only time you ever use a matter-of-fact tone is when you're actually posting the facts. The fact that this tone was used by victimized is implying that she's stating facts, facts which are clearly and undoubtedly incorrect. And I can prove it.
The original Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was released in 1992, long before the tuner scene even existed. They designed it to be a rally car for the road, from the ground-up. The rally theme has always stayed true to this day, and the road cars are inspired by the rally cars, sometimes vice-versa.
Now, I will back up my above statement with every necessary citation.

The Lancer existed LOOONG before the tuner scene - Link
The inspiration for the road cars came from the rally cars:
...meaning they were a direct homologation of the rally cars, and were road legal, so they could be used for a run to the shops, and then afterwards the Paris-Dakar rally.
I think I've pretty much hit the nails on the head. So try fighting this back, 2hot4u.
Yes Mitsubishi is a rally car, nuff said. But from what i hear about the EVO, most Japanese drifters consider it as a drifting car.
