I've only seen 3 of us Kiwis, but there must be more somewhere.
Everything but the rust was done in 1 day. It took them 8 days to do the rust. Had to take out front windscreen to do it.
Still I am back on the road, and a menace to peds.

those cars resist even after 20 years...my father had an '86 renault cinq (five) and it had around 25-30 years...and at one time the law here ddn't permit him to travel with that car and so he put it out for sale...and it stayed outside for a good amount of time and although it looked as if you'd need to put a huge effort and money to repair it only took moments to connect the battery and the first try to start the engine it started without a problem
it was a good car...i really am sorry because dad had to sell it...i would've repaired it as far as i could no matter if the body elements where starting to rust
and my family had only 2 cars since before i wasn't born till now...the renault which dad had it few years before i was born...and then he was obliged to change it just now in 2007 because it was too old and the law doesn't allow very old vehicles to be driven on roads (especially public roads)
If you read any article where a McLaren F1 owner or driver talks abouts the car, they usually say it is out of this world. It supposedly drives like no other car on the road and feels more like your floating along the road rather than driving a car on it. How can you not like that?
