    nope that dude doesnt give you star dust there is no stardust in crystal

    the dude with the farfetch'd only gives you coal to power up fire type moves

    Do not grow levels with your Evee, this will unable you to get moves that Umbreon or Espeon will learn.
    Get haircuts with your Evee, us Proteins and Calciums, etc. on your Evee and keep checking the lady at Goldenrod (the house above the bike shop) to see how you are doing. I did this immediately after i got my Evee and it took me till after the Elite Four to get Espeon.
