I wonder if you're talking about the Razor1911 release, if so, it's a bad .exe that's causing or might causing this.

I hope I didn't break any rules by mentioning Razor1911.

THQ release the patch today and it did nothing to fix my problem with VISTA ULTIMATE It still studders, meaning that it plays for a few seconds and then freezes for a few seconds and keep doing this over and over and makes the game unplayable, I am soooo disapointed in THQ right now, Looks like it's back to COD4 or CRYSIS

Here is how I fix the problem.
At game main screen,Click on "Options" then click on "Video" next click on "Advanced" and then look for the setting control call "Foliage" and slice this setting all the way to the LEFT.This is very importance that no matter what other control bar that you set, this "Foliage" setting has to be all the way to the left at all the time. Hope this will help someone out there with the same problem.

mickiesoft viste 64bit business edition
with coredual 2.66
and 4 gb kingston hyperX ram
with my sweet Ultra 8800 768ram
all settings to max out at 1600*1050
not a glitch in sight

cpu temp not exceeding 32° C (have a massive zalman cooler working)
and mobo pushing temp to 44-45° (first ever game that pushed the mobo temp above 41°)

Thank you tp1234! I did as you said and turned of foliage. The game no longer stutters.

that I have to try... I got the exact same problem like everyone else here... hehehe





EDIT: I can only conclude that it worked... its now lag free

Turning down the foilage has nothing to do with my problem still :P

Darkieus,you should give this a try, here how.

go to "megagames.com"then download the game fix.Choose the game name,then Get the one it said"Razor 1911" .It might solve your problem.It works for me.
