I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I've been through the game, dominated all races, beat all of the showdown kings including RYO but I can't gain access to the last remaining showdown labeled Noise Bomb EBISU/Ahi Kimura. It says to unlock this showdown I have to break record 6/10. I have 6/10 showing (6 green bars). I have gone back and entered other races and set at least 15 new track records but this 6/10 never changes and I still can open this showdown to finish the game. Any words of wisdom from you experts? Thanks, Willy

Well, it seems to me that you need to beat Ryo's Record #6 to unlock that race from what you're saying. Ryo's Record 6 is in the React Team Sessions at Top Speed Run at Autobahnring II.
Here's a list of all the game achievements including all of Ryo's Records telling you where to beat each one. Link

Skyline- Thanks for the info. It lead me to figuring it out. It wasn't so much that I had to beat RYO's Record #6. I had to beat all 10 of RYO's records to unlock the showdown. I had acheived 6 of the 10. The link was very helpful. Wheelie On Dude!

I don't think so. I managed to unlock Noise Bomb after I had completely owned and dominated 10 drift track records. It was the same for grip, speed and drag races. You must dominate 10 drift races in order to unlock NB. Dominate meaning completely shatter the track record.

Sounds good to me. When I played Pro Street I pretty much dominated everything so I didn't notice how I unlocked anything. But I guess when you got all 10 of Ryo's Records you just happen to dominate enough drift races to make a total of 10 dominated and that unlocked Noise Bomb.

You just need to beat the shown records for each mode (grip, drag, drift, speed) in the various race days, even beating them by one point is enough. The normal unlock order will be grip, drag, drift, then speed. Because some of the race days are dominated before you complete all events, it's easy to skip some of the events if you don't choose to continue with a race day after dominating it.
